Kerteminde is also recognized for its fish restaurant, Rudolf Mathis and for the research and exhibition institution for fish and porpoises Fjord & Bælt. In Fjord & Bælt the first baby porpoise in capture was born in the summer of 2007. Kerteminde has a large yacht habour and a beach.
