Kerewan has the following areas:
Dinkareh, Banta SU, Korosumang and Area Council.
Dinkareh used to have a very good soccer team called Cannon.



Since about 2005, efforts have been on-going by the Gambian President's International Award, Scottish Charity Gamscot and others to construct a Skills Centre to provide practical training for young Gambians in the town and surrounding area. As of May 2010, the building - which had been partially destroyed by storms on a number of occasions - was finally roofed and power supplied.
