Geography

The area has a few farmlands and pastures but much of the community are hilly and forested along with some bushes. Pine trees are situated in the northern part and lots more in the southern and the eastern part. Bushes and grasses are to the north. The Pineios River

Dam of the lake is in the northeast but before the construction, it was forested and bushy. The boundary with Pineia is in the east. Until the 1960s, much of the houses had no electricity and much of its roads weren't paved.
