(1846–1895) was the ruler of the Kingdom of Cochin
from 1888 to 1895.
died in August 1888, his brother Kerala Varma succeeded him. Kerala Varma was acclaimed for his proficiency over the English language. Kerala Varma was knighted even before his accession to the throne.
