Kendall Francis Schmidt is an American actor and singer-songwriter; he is best known for playing Kendall Knight in Big Time Rush
and has played small roles on different TV shows such as ER

. Kendall first started acting because of his two older brothers who wanted to start acting. That was when the Schmidt family moved to California. Kendall started singing at the age of 5. His first band he was in was called Lovers Make Liars
but was apart of the band for less than a year due to booking a leading role in Big Time Rush. Kendall was the last actor to be cast and the show even filmed a pilot episode that did not contain his character. He currently plays "Kendall Knight" on the show.
