Osunwa has been active in the fields of football professionally since 2001. In 2009 Kelechi signed a three-year deal with Al-Merreikh after his previous contract with Al-Hilal expired.
The former junior international helped Al Hilal reach the semi-final of the 2007 CAF Champions League.
