Kasabian is the debut album by the British indie rock
group Kasabian, released in September 2004 through BMG Records subsidiaries Arista Records
and RCA Records
. The album spawned four singles and rose to fourth place on the UK Album Chart.
Different geographical regions had different colours for their album cover. The British version is black and white, the UK import is black and red, and the American version is black and blue. The Japanese 'Ultimate Edition' is silver (metallic) and white.
This album has been released with the Copy Control
protection system in some regions. In the United States it uses the MediaMax CD-3
system.
