Tulchinsky has edited several literary anthologies. Her collection of short stories In Her Nature (1996), was awarded the 1996 VanCity Book Prize. Her novel, "The Five Books of Moses Lapinsky" was a Toronto Book Award Finalist and winner of the Vancouver Public LibraryVancouver Public Library
