Water purification is also under control and action in Kapasia. Without it, Kapasia High School at Gazipur District was selected and pure drinking water facilities were installed for the school children by Nestle Bangladesh Ltd. he project also includes water education programmes to teach students about the importance of clean water, the need for water conservation and the link between clean water, hygiene, health and wellness. Mr. Laurent Therond from Nestlé Bangladesh Ltd. spoke on the occasion and emphasized Nestlé's commitment to continuing such corporate social activities.

Agriculture and Outputs
Kapasia is a part of Gazipur's Agricultural Area. Fishery is also popular along with farming. There has been an earlier project in Kapasia Upazila where the WorldFish Center with funding from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the Danish International Development Agency (Danida), had researched on farming systems and had introduced adaptive integrated aquaculture practices.Water purification is also under control and action in Kapasia.
