Beside this various forms of songs linking the day to day activities are also popular like marriage songs (biyar geet),now khelor(boat race) geet, maha-kheda (mosquito driveout)geet,child's play geet, boroshibowa (fishing) geet, nisukoni (lallabye)geet and various forms of bihu geet. This folk songs play important part of life of common people.
