Kalighat Club is a sports club based in Kolkata

. It was established in 1922 as a football club. In 1931 it won the 3rd division of Calcutta football league, and the following year 2nd division title as well. Thus it made its first appearance in 1st division of Calcutta football league in 1933. In 1936 the club started playing cricket and today it is one of the dominant cricket clubs in Kolkata. In 1939 the club introduced its hockey team as well.
