The station began in the Summer of 2006 year when KXII added programming from UPN to a new second digital subchannel and cable (known as "UPN Texoma"). This programming flipped to MyNetworkTV when UPN ceased operation on September 15.

History

KXII-DT2 launced in the summer of 2006. It was known on air as "UPN Texoma". In September when UPN quit broadcasting, the subchannel began programming from MyNetworkTV and became known on air as "My Texoma".

News operation

MyNetworkTV overall does not air any news programs. KXII-DT2 has temporarily replaced My Texoma with an SD CBS feed while breaking local news coverage airs on the main KXII channel.

The First News staff seen on My Texoma is Steve LaNore, Aimee Wilmoth, and Tom Miller. Megan Krannig is a former member of the on-air staff. These people have only appeared on My Texoma is because My Texoma only airs breaking weather alerts.
