They finished fourth with 55 points and, having won 5-2 a play-off against KS Bylis, were allowed to play in the Albanian Superliga. KS Gramozi is owned by the father of Albanian oil magnate Rezart Taci. Taci organized a friendly match between the team and Real Madrid
on the 20th January 2010 for the Taci Oil Cup, which ended in a win to Real Madrid (1-2). Real Madrid earned 2.5 million euros for playing in Albania
