, USA. The station is currently owned by Armada Media - Mccook. The station has obtained a construction permit from the FCC for a power increase to 55,000 watts. The construction permit would increase the height above average terrain from -105 feet to -67 feet, or in other words, increasing the height 38 feet. This will allow KJBL to become a class C station and significantly increase its coverage area.

Along with carrying oldies, the station airs local high school football games. The station carries local news as well. Music on KJBL is primarily satellite fed.

History

The station was assigned the call letters KEGK on 1999-02-26. On 2001-07-24, the station changed its call sign to KKAS and on 2004-07-07 to KKYT. After a period off air, on 2005-01-14 the station became the current KJBL. Beginning in 2005, the station aired primarily a country music
