Normally referred to as The Peak, KDBZ is alone among Anchorage radio stations in that it has no live DJs and guarantees to tell listeners the name and artist of every song played.

On September 7 at 12:01 am KDBZ changed their format from modern AC (branded as "The Buzz") to adult album alternative (AAA), branded as "The Peak".
