 station until 2002 when they flipped to Rhythmic Top 40. But then in 2004 KBFM

switched from Mainstream Top 40 to Rhythmic Top 40, thus sparking a Rhythmic war in the Valley. On October 17, 2005 they bowed out and switched to its current format.
