 football club founded in 1908 as E.F.C. Hasselt. The matricule n°37 was erased in 2001 after the merge with K.S.K. Kermt to become K.S.K. Kermt-Hasselt. The club played one season in the first division in 1979-80.

The club was a fusion between two clubs: Excelsior-Hasselt green white and Hasselt-vv, blue white, a fusion that was made just after World War II

, who even played for the national Holland team. Some very well known players even played in Hasselt like the national coach René Vandereycken. Also played in Hasselt the father of Stijn Stijnen: Jean-Pierre Stijnen.

The players who helped Hasselt to the 1st Division were: Norbert Verdingh, Noelmans, Philippe Vanderstraeten, Marc Billen, Paul Renaers, Dachelet, Dewaay, Keeper De Bellefroid, under coach Mr. Mangelschots, who became a respected coach afterwards in the 1st Division in St. Truiden. The team currently play in the 4th division.
