Juraj Neidhardt was born in Zagreb

on October 15th 1901, who was an excellent architect and urban planner. He studied in Vienna, where after graduation he goes to work in Berlin, and after a period of his life spent there he comes to Sarajevo in 1939 and stays there until the end of his life, where he was buried on city cemetery Bare.

For his decision to move to Sarajevo greatest contribution goes to Dušan Grabrijan, who was Slovenian-Bosnian architect, what resulted with joined book publication named “Architecture of Bosnia and voyage to modern”.

Amongst his biggest contributions were: works on the ski house at Trebević, Faculty of Philosophy, Chemical-Physical Institute, Hose of Scouts (Dom Izviđača) in Sarajevo, the urban core solution at Marindvor in Sarajevo, Parliament building of Bosnia and Herzegovina which by its simplicity and elegance is the greatest monument to this great man.
