Dame June Gonsalves, DSG
was a radio broadcaster in Trinidad and Tobago
for many years. She was an announcer on Radio Trinidad
and hosted several programs, including a Catholic religious programme on Sunday mornings at 10 am.
She was the first female director of a Trinidadian radio show. She moved on to Trinidad and Tobago television as a TV announcer. She works with the Catholic Church.
In 2000, she became the first woman in Trinidad and Tobago to have had the Dame of the Order of St Gregory The Great conferred.
