Julian Scriabin was the son of Russian composer Alexander Scriabin

 and Tatiana de Schloezer. He was himself a composer and pianist. Considered a prodigy, as a composer Julian wrote a few preludes—two of which were published in Сборник (Sbornik)—and showed great promise.
His few works are reminiscent of his father's late style, to which he was exposed while growing up.
