Judd Lormand

Judd Lormand is an American film and television actor.


He was born in Marshall, Texas and after just a few years moved to Houston, Texas. At the age of 8 he moved overseas when his father took a job managing a pipeline construction company. It was while living in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia that he got his first on-stage experiences in his elementary school's plays.

He began acting on a regular basis after entering Comeaux High School in Lafayette, Louisiana where he competed in speech and debate competitions in the Catholic Forensic League and the National Forensic League. In 1997, Judd began hosting and producing a local talk show called This Week In Wrestling with college, friend Chad Vidrine. The live program featured behind-the-scenes news from the professional wrestling business and is now considered to be a format that was several years ahead of its time. The show aired weekly on the Acadiana Open Channel in his hometown and quickly became one of the town's most popular locally-produced programs, earning the award for Best Local Program in The Times Of Acadiana newspaper for three consecutive years. The program came to an end in December of 2003 as the national popularity of the pro wrestling business was in major decline.

 working as a financial advisor and broker, he decided to try his hand in professional acting in late 2004 and signed with the Del Coral Talent Agency in New Orleans, La. During his tenure with Del Coral he would find work in several regional commercials and independently produced short films. In 2006 he took a three-year hiatus from acting and upon returning in late 2009, signed with Sharon Ward's Louisiana Ward Agency, where he remains a client today.
