José Luis Alonso Trejo has been a general authority

Alonso was born in Cuautla, Morelos
, Mexico. He lived primarily in Mexico City
until he was 15 when he moved back to Cuautla to live with his father, Luis Alonso. The older Alonso had already joined the LDS Church and through the influence of his father and meeting with the LDS Church missionaries
