 was originally shown on the pre-Marcos ABS-CBN. After ABS-CBN was forced to cease its operations, the show transferred to Radio Philippines Network (RPN)

. The show remained there even after ABS-CBN reopened in February 1986. Finally, the show went off air in 1990.

On 2006, the classic 70's sitcom was revived on ABS-CBN under the new title, John En Shirley (John, En for Encarnacion, Shirley). Dolphy and Maricel were the only ones from the original cast. One of the original cast members, Evelyn Bontogon as Matutina, made an appearance on one of the episodes.
