Wilson was waived by DC on June 26, 2007, and returned to Charleston prior to the 2008 season. On April 13, 2010, Charleston announced the re-signing of Wilson to a new contract for the 2010 season. He announced his retirement after the 2010 season but re-considered and signed a new contract with Charleston on March 3, 2011.
