under its shepherd, the Most Reverend Gabriel V. Reyes, DD with the Most Reverend Francisco M. De Leon, DD as the Auxiliary Bishop.

The seminary began with forty-eight (48) First Year seminarians on June 2007. For the academic year 2010-2011 came the first batch of the graduated seminarian.

Formators

Rev. Fr. Butch Cabildo served as the first Rector in John Paul II Minor Seminary from 2007-2010 but thus granted sabbatical leave on his 10th year in the priesthood. Followed by Rev. Fr. Joselito Santos who served as the second Rector of the seminary. On August 4, 2011 on the feast of St.John Mary Vianney, Rev. Fr. Joselito announced to the community that he has been assigned by Most Rev. Gabriel V. Reyes, DD Bishop of Antipolo as his new secretary. This was followed by the announcement that Rev. Fr. Jose Bautista will be the acting Rector.

Rev.Fr. Mark Anthony Naval is the Prefect of Discipline, he was just ordained last October 15,2011 on the feast of St.Teresa of Avila. Rev. Fr. Christopher Gonzales is the Spiritual Director and Confessor.

Sr. Julisa Jugadora, RVM serves as the Treasurer and Sr. Malou Madronero, RVM is the principal of the Minor Seminary.

Education

Teachers from the Our Lady of Peace School, the cathedral school of the Parish of the Immaculate Conception in the City of Antipolo, come to instruct the seminarians everyday from June to March. The seminarians get the same instruction as to the one in OLPS.

Facilities

In order to raise funds for its construction, a number of Fund Raising Activities were held within the diocese. Finally, the first Seminary Buildings were completed and blessed on October 3, 2007. After a year and a half, the second building was completed. The seminary chapel (dedicated under the title of St. John Mary Vianney) was finished recently. It was blessed and inaugurated by the Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, the Most Rev. Edward Joseph Adams, D.D., last September 4, 2010 in the presence of the Most Rev. Gabriel V. Reyes (Bishop of Antipolo), Most Rev. Francisco M. de Leon (Auxiliary Bishop of Antipolo), priests, men & women religious, seminarians and their parents, and lay leaders of the Diocese of Antipolo.
