John was first married on 22 January 1436 in Brussels, to Jacqueline d'Ailly, Dame d'Engelmuenster (ca 1416-1470), they had two children:

Upon Jacqueline's death in 1470 he married secondly on 30 August 1471, in Chateau de Boussac, to Pauline de Brosse (ca 1450-1479), they had:

Third Marriage

John's final marriage was on 11 March 1480, in the château de Châlus-Chabrol (Limousin), to Françoise d'Albret (ca 1460-1521).
