John Gogo

John Albert Gogo is a former provincial politician and career soldier in the Canadian Armed Forces. From 1949 to 1962 he served as a in the Canadian Army attaining the rank of Sargent. He served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta
from 1975 to 1993. He served as Minister of Advanced Education (November 1985 - December 1992).

Early life
Gogo was born in Toronto in 1932. He joined the Canadian Armed Forces. He went overseas and served in combat in the Korea War. In 1972 Gogo became President of the Rotary Club of Lethbridge.Political career
