John E. Nixon is the State Budget Director of Michigan and Director of the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget. He is also the Value for Money Group Executive on Governor Rick Snyder's cabinet.

Nixon was the director of the Governor's Office of Planning and Budget in Utah before coming to Michigan. He has also served as president of the National Association of State Budget Officers.
