John Douglas of Broughton

Hon. John Douglas of Broughton (died 1832) was the second son of William Douglas, 1st Earl of March.

, who was later to become 4th Duke of Queensberry. However, John Douglas of Broughton died, unmarried, the following year.

He had, in 1819, purchased the estate of Broughton, but he was so deeply in debt that, following his death 1832, it had to be sold to pay his creditors.
