John Curro

John Curro AM MBE is an Australian based violist, conductor, and music director.
He is the founder (1966) and Director of Music of the Queensland Youth Orchestras
with whom he established the National Youth Concerto Competition (NYCC). John Curro was awarded the Don Banks Music Award
in 2002. He is also a Member of the Order of the British Empire and a Member of the Order of Australia.
