Fafard's work has received nominations for many awards including a Juno nomination in 2007 for his album Three Hens Escape Oblivion. This album won Outstanding Instrumental Recording at the 2006 Western Canadian Music Awards. Cluck Old Hen which was released October 12, 2010, is his sixth album, and his first vocal album since 2001.
