In February 2009 ITV regional weather was reorganised so that each region had dedicated weather presenters. Blythe moved from ITV Yorkshire in Leeds, to ITV Granada in Manchester, though appearing primarily on Granada she occasionally provides cover on Central. She no longer appears on Border, Tyne Tees or Yorkshire.
Between 2006 and 2008, she was a relief weather presenter, for the ITV National Weather

In addition to weather forecasting, Blythe has also presented and contributed to non-news regional programming in the aforementioned ITV regions. She was voted the 4th best weather girl in the 2006 FHM
