, the main business district of Islamabad.

Location and Description

The Avenue starts from Sector F-5/1 near the Parliament and ends at the roundabout of F-10 Markaz. The total length of the Avenue is around 8 kilometers. The Avenue used to be a 4 lane road but in the early 2000s it was converted into a 6 lane road. By the end of 2008 it has become an 8 lane road.

It is the same road that heads directly to parliament house which is adjacent to other important government buildings like prime minister house and few others. Also you would see lots of greenery on sides of this road, which really looks great and increases the beauty of this area. Also campuses of two universities "University of Lahore, Islamabad Campus(UOL)" and "Muhammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU)" are on same Road.
But MAJU University is shifted.
