. The airport was built with an investment of 343 million yuan, and was opened on August 29, 2011. It is the sixth civil airport in Gansu and the first to be built since 1982.

Facilities

The airport has one runway that is 3,000 meters long, and a 3,960 square meter terminal building. It is designed to handle 200,000 passengers and 1,200 tons of cargo annually.
