Jim Williams and his family have also given vast acres of protected land to Marion County, FL and also own and maintain some of Florida's orange groves. He protects Lake Weir, and important aspect of his home city. [This lake's tributary, the Ocklawaha River, would have been damaged if plans had continued to take gallons of water out of it each day.]
