Jewellery Quarter is the second album by The Twang
The Twang
The Twang are an indie rock band from Birmingham, England, formed in 2001. The band have released two studio albums - Love It When I Feel Like This and Jewellery Quarter...

, released on 3 August 2009. The title was announced on 7 May, along with a free download of the final (second to last with iTunes download) track on the album, namely "Another Bus". The album's first single was later announced as "Barney Rubble".

The album will feature a bonus disc of six tracks, including an acoustic version of the album's first single, "Barney Rubble".

On 13 July 2009, the band put up the opening track, "Took The Fun", from the album on their MySpace page, and announced that there would be more songs put up each Monday until the release of the album. A week later, they put up "Twit Twoo".
The whole album was streamed early on We7. The latest single to be released is Encouraging Sign . An unashamed love song, the single is already a highlight of the band's live set and a fan favourite. Having been one of the talking points of 2007, the band have returned with a second album that has seen praise for its 'euphoric harmonies' (UNCUT) with 'melodic, everyman appeal' (ZOO).
