jetAudio is a multimedia player software that offers a playback option and multimedia file editor and burning capabilities. There are two different versions: Basic and Plus VX. jetAudio 4's graphical user interface was designed to look like a high powered stereo rack.

jetAudio 5, released in 2002, saw a major overhaul of the entire user interface and now allowed for a freely modifiable interface.

jetAudio 7

jetAudio 7 (now also known as Cowon Media Centre) is a Windows application that can play a multitude of video and audio formats. There are several different versions of the program available. jetAudio Basic is a free standard version of the player with some features disabled, like MP3 encoding and sound recording. jetAudio Plus VX is included with some of Cowon's portable multimedia and digital audio players. The Plus VX version of the program allows users to convert videos into a format that the portable media player will be able to play back. jetAudio Plus VX comes with features such as mp3 and mp3pro encoding, a sound effects processor called BBE, some extra audio file manipulation applications, video conversion capabilities and more recording options. Now it is fully compatible with Windows 7. Cowon added some new features and also enhanced many existing features.

  • Supports subtitle with DXVA decoding
  • New file association method for Windows Vista/7
  • Added DVD Pal/NTSC for video conversion

License controversy
