Biography

Jeremy Schonfeld attended the Berklee College of Music and participated in the BMI Lehman-Engel Musical Theater Workshop.

Work

Schonfeld starred and wrote the feature film “Clear Blue Tuesday,” which traces the journey of eleven artists in post 9/11 New York through a montage of songs and scenes.

As a solo performer, recent engagements included Joe’s Pub; Birdland; Ars Nova; BB King’s; Lincoln Center; Juilliard Opera Theater; Symphony Space; CBGBs; Southpaw (he is also the club’s only right-handed owner); The Zipper Theater (where he served as associate producer for the Unzipped Concert Series); and as an opener for James Taylor.

He served as the music director and special guest performer for The Broadway Dreams Foundation events around the country.

Along with partners Ryan Paternite and Jonelle Fenton, Jeremy signed a development deal with Glowcast Ventures to create a new reality television program based on Songwriting.

Albums

In 2000, Schonfeld independently released Blue Skies, consisting of songs written and composed by himself.

In May 2008, Schonfeld independently released 37 Notebooks, which featured the vocal talents of top Broadway performers.

The concept album of the musical Drift was released on Sh-K-Boom Records.
