Jenny Wilson
is a Hampshire Women's cricketer
. Wilson is left-handed batsman who bowls leg break
. She was previously a wicket keeper but was forced to retire from this position in 2004 due to a serious knee injury.
Wilson made her debut for Sussex in the 1991 as wicket keeper for the sussex "grasshopper's" side openeing the batting with Caroline Atkins
. Wilson successfully played for all junior ages groups and made her debut for the Senior XI under the captaincy of Clare Connor
in 1996.
In 1997 the first Hampshire Women's team was set up and Wilson moved cross borders to captain the U21 side in the inaugural match against Sussex. She scored 73*, registering the first half century for the county for any player. On the back of the season's performances Wilson was selected for the England U17 squad and played one game in 1998.
Wilson went on to play for the Hampshire Senior XI in two National County Championships in Cambridge
but failed to make a big impact.
Wilson played for the British Universities team from 1998-2002, keeping wicket for the team.
Durham University
Wilson made her debut for the Durham
Women's First XI in 2001 in the UCCE National Women's League. Under the coaching of Graeme Fowler
, Wilson forged a batting patnership with Caroline Atkins
once again. the 2002 season saw Durham
successfully beat Loughborough UCCE in the national final and Wilson was named player of the match for her 3 wickets and 48*.
2002 proved equally successful with Durham
beating the University of Brighton in the final played at the Parks Ground
Southampton University
Wilson made her debut for Southampton University Women's First XI against Portsmouth University in 2009 scoring 100* from 17 overs. A broken hand forced Wilson to have limited participation in the season but she notable played whilst wearing a cast in a match against Brunel. This match saw Southampton
field just 7 players against a full strength Brunel team away in London. The visiting team were victorius on the day progressing to the quarter final stage of the competition. The team were successfully able to reach the national quarter finals, losing to Bournemouth away.

Wilson won the Cantebury Cricket Felton award for most wickets in the season with 29. She was placed third in the CCA Women's player of the year behind Clare Taylor
and Rowan Milburn
Jenny also won the St Alban's Cricket Club Women's player of the year taking 29 wicket, 26 catches and scoring 301 runs with a high score of 62*.
