, given to the top amateur athlete in the United States each year. He led the Michigan State Spartans as captain in the 2008-2009 season, in which he broke the CCHA saves record and placed second on the NCAA all-time saves list on Senior night at the Munn. On July 31, 2009 Jeff signed with the New Jersey Devils/Lowell Devils.
