Danielson currently serves on the Appropriations committee; the Rules and Administration committee; the State Government committee; the Transportation Committee; and is Vice-Chair of the Veterans Affairs committee. He also serves as chair of the Administration and Regulation Appropriations Subcommittee. His prior public service experience includes experience as the Commissioner of the Iowa Department of Transportation
