Biu Chun Rangers

In July 2011, Lutula was courted by Biu Chun Rangers of Hong Kong after his contract expired with FC Brussels. But his asking price of US$8,000 per month plus bonuses was considered too high for the club. But in August 2011, after a series of poor results, Lutula was invited for a trial. The club intended to sign him up after the trial but his transfer papers did not arrive in time for the 2011-12 Hong Kong First Division League season.
