, he was awarded the Best Player of the Conference. He is a three time Mythical First Team Awardee in the PBA. He was then awarded another Best Player of the Conference Award during Game 4 of the 2010-11 PBA Philippine Cup Finals.

Washington's playing position as Small Forward / Power Forward poses problems to his defenders. With everything in his arsenal, he puts up good numbers on the floor. This led to his first back to back PBA Best Player of the Conference (BPC) award (2009-2010, 2010-2011). He averaged 25.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.4 blocked shots in his second win putting him in the company of former MVP’s Vergel Meneses, Danny Ildefonso and Eric Menk.

The three previous winners won theirs in their MVP seasons. Meneses won the citation three straight times from 1994-95, Ildefonso five straight from 2000-01 and Menk 2004-05.
