Partridge had his best season in 1930. Taking advantage of Nashville's short ballpark dimensions, he batted a career-high .361 and ripped 40 home runs, which was the second-most in the league. Partridge went to the International League
in 1931 and never hit as well again. He retired in 1933.
Partridge was elected into the Oglethorpe University Athletic Hall of Fame in 1967. He died in 1974, at the age of 71.
