Career

and moving to New York City in 2002, Walker was discovered by legendary DJ/Producer Junior Vasquez, who signed him immediately to his label JVM. Under the wing of Vasquez and his label manager Jerome Farley, Walker went on to record his debut album "This Is My Life" released in 2005. Aside from much critical acclaim, Walker's debut yielded 6 singles, "My Life", "Foolish Mind Games", "Set It Free", "No More", "Movin' On", and "Reaching"

In late 2007 JVM and Centaur Entertainment released Walker's follow-up album, "Flexible" and along with it the lead single and video for "I Can't Get You Off My Mind" directed by Karl Giant (Cyndi Lauper, Ultra Nate, The Ones).

Post Vasquez

After leaving JVM in 2008, Walker saw the release of "Can't Stop" his collaboration with Quentin Harris. The song was featured on Harris's Strictly Rhythm/Defected Records album "No Politics"
2009 saw the release of "What You Need" with Ridney & Talk and Lenny Fontana on CR2 Records, UK.
Aside from his many current Dance Music projects, Walker released his first album independent of a label titled "Leave It All Behind".
The album is a blend of acoustic pop and soul with a few "danceable" tracks.
The title track was released late summer of 2010 and peaked at #15 on the Billboard Dance Chart, making that his 7th chart appearance.
At the close of 2010 Walker released the 2nd single from the album, the ballad written by Chris Rodriguez, "The Song In My Heart". A video shot by Karl Giant accompanied the single.

June of 2011 saw the release of "Live and Unplugged, the 6th Ave Sessions" a live and unplugged E.P. recorded in NYC in the winter of 2010 with writing partner and fellow "Leave It All Behind" album producer, Rami Ramirez.
The E.P. consists of selections from the album "Leave It Al Behind" performed solely with piano and vocal and one live "full band" recording of "I am Changing".
Jason is currently writing his next Pop album and is set to begin recording in December of 2011 in Los Angeles.
Jason is also preparing his return to "clubland" with the release of "Raise Your Hands" a joint collaboration with Grammy nominated producer Chris Rodriguez (aka, C Rod) from Miami, Florida.
