Jason Rivers, MD
, is a Canadian dermatologist and the founder of Riversol Skin Care Inc.
For seven years, he was director of the Canadian Dermatology Association’s (CDA) National Sun Awareness Program. Rivers now serves as the CDA’s British Columbia Regional Director. He is also past Director of CDA’s Sunscreen Education Program.
Rivers is a recipient of the Canadian Dermatology Association’s President’s Cup, and the American Academy of Dermatology’s Gold Triangle Award. Rivers has been recognized by his peers as one of Canada’s Best Doctors. He is the Associate Editor of The Skin Therapy Letter, is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery, and is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and the British Journal of Dermatology
Rivers is a staff member at the British Columbia Cancer Agency, Vancouver General Hospital and St. Paul’s Hospital. He is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine, and was their Program Director for Dermatology for six years.
