Within few days of Jane working at the IV, Kieran found a note addressed to him on a table. It suggested that the author of the note knew what Kieran had done. Kieran then went on to receive another 3 notes some mentioning Morgan. Eventually on 20 May the audience learns that Jane is the blackmailer when she leaves a note on the counter demanding 50,000 dollars.
