Jamwai Mata Temple

This temple located just on downstream of Ramgarh Lake is built around hundreds of years ago and considered to be dedicated to Jamwa Mata, Kuldevi of Rajputs. Contemporary President of India Mrs. Pratibha Patil visted the temple in year 2007.

Geography

The major rivers passing through the Jaipur district are Banas and Banganga. Although serious drought is rare, poor water management and exploitation of groundwater with extensive tube-well systems threatens agriculture in some areas.
