Jamie Moriarty is an American
bobsledder who has competed since 2006. His best World Cup finish was second in a four-man event at Lake Placid, New York
on 22 November 2009.
It was announced on 17 January 2010 that Moriarty made the US team in the four-man event for the 2010 Winter Olympics
where he finished 13th. Jamie will be in the four-man USA III sled along with teammates Bill Schuffenhauer
, Nick Cunningham
and Mike Kohn
. Prior to qualifying for the 2010 Winter Olympics, Jamie trained with TCBoost, a speed and performance firm that has trained a number of successful professional and college athletes. He is said to have collaborated on the bobsled movie, 'Cool Runnings.'
with a degree in hotel and restaurant management. He played safety on the Cornell Big Red football
team where he had 152 tackles and six interceptions over three seasons.
Moriarty co-founded the Uber Dispensing Company with two Cornell friends and a Vanderbilt University
