James Watkins

Professor James Watkins is Director, Sport and Exercise Science Research Centre at the University of Wales Swansea. He is an advisory board member of the Journal of Sports Sciences and an editorial board member of the European Journal of Physical Education.
He was chairman of the biomechanics
section of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences from 1993–96 and a member of the sports-related subjects panel in the 1996-2001 research assessment exercises.
